Q: Where can I get Dodge Viper information?
I'm planning on doing a Dodge Viper as a project car by restoring it.
I need to know what all parts I need. And maybe Blueprints to it as well. I would like to create my own frame as opposed to buying one for a ridiculous amount. Is there a website that has the dimensions?

Q: What is the life expectancy of a 2002 Dodge Dakota V8?
I am thinking of buying a 2002 Dodge Dakota Sport V8 for $4,500 and I want to know if it's worth it. It has 103,000 miles on it and seems to be well kept.
A: there's no set time on when its going to die out or break down on you,all this is going to depend on how well it was maintained before you bought it,and how well you take care of it,i own an 03 model that only had 85 thousand on it when i bought it and the transmission was already out of it,so you cant go by year or mileage on them,when you buy a used vehicle its a gamble either way with it,good luck.

A: there is a filler on the ac rail. You will need to buy refrigerant and a fill nozzle. To do it your self isn't the best idea if you take it to a shop it shouldn't cost more than $200. Refrigerant isn't a toy! If you insist on doing it yourself have water on hand to wash up, and please wear safety GOGGLES!

Q: How much would it cost to repair a dent on a side of a 2001 Dodge Truck?
My wife backed into a 2001 Dodge Truck. She dented the body of the truck right above the back passenger tire. The part that she hit has has a groove on it. So that will make it more expensive. I can tell by the damage that it will definately need a paint job. The color is white.
Does anyone have any idea how much this would cost?
My insurance deductible is $500. If the cost is more than 500 should I let me insurance pay for it?
And finally my current insurance premium for my wife and I is $750 for 6 months. How much higher will it go with an incident like this?

A: Lets say a credit card sized dent is one hour. I will say your dent is 4hrs just as an example and that this is a short bed and not a long bed. I typed it up on my ADP estimating software and provided you dont have to replace any decals or pinstriping or emblems you are at about $700. That's at $38/hr labor and $28 paint material. You need to go with $500 cash in hand to a smaller body shop and say "Here is $500 can u fix it?" They will fix it.
If you do decide to claim it on insurance then your insurance company will write the damage or on of their direct repair shops will write it. I advise u not to claim it. If your wife has had no tickets or accidents your insurance should not go up. By the way, i am a body shop manager if that helps.

A: you have to disconnect the battery. remove the left motor mount and support the engine with a jack. remove the battery cable and solenoid wire from the starter. remove 3 15mm bolts from starter and remove from bellhousing.
Q: Why is the ignition switch stuck on my 2001 Dodge Caravan?
I have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. The ignition switch is stuck in the "lock" position and will not turn. The steering wheel is not locked, so I don't think that's the problem. I've tried three different keys. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
A: there should b a release key botton that you have to press to take off the key ., they ususally do that in luxury car and minivans and family cars .
it should around the ignition ususally like 3 inches up from the key in angel

A: Disconnect battery negative cable.
Raise vehicle on hoist.
Remove left front tire/wheel assembly.
Pull back splash shield to gain access to TCM location.
Disconnect TCM 60-way connector (Transmission Control Module 60-way Connector).
Remove three (3) TCM-to-rail screws and remove TCM from vehicle

Where is the crankshaft positioning sensor for a 1995 Dodge Stratus? The only answer I have come up with so far is that it's on the bell housing.
Can someone please be very specific in describing to me where it is or provide a link to a picture? By specific I mean, standing in front of the car, looking on the right side, remove the air filter system, etc. Let me know where it is and HOW I get to it.

A: The location of the crank sensor is between the brake master cylinder, and the cylinder head. down on the trans bell housing where it meets the engine. Its closer to the back fire wall. There is a Single wire coming off of it, with a round plug. Its way down in there deep.
Q: How to fix a loose sun visor in a dodge truck?
The sun visor in my dodge truck recently became loose. I don't know why or how, but it just hangs there now. How do you fix that?
A: Super glue work's best. Pull the visor off of the visor arm and fill the hole with the super glue and slide it back on. Hold it firmly up a couple of seconds for it to dry.
That's it ! Easy huh, and it wont fall down any more!!!!!!
Q: How hard would it be to swap out a Dodge stealth engin?
Im currently thinking about buying a 1992 dodge stealth for 1,000 its coming with another engine to replace the one in it now With is currently locked up.
Do you think it would be hard to swap out considering that iv never done this type of thing before. And does anyone know any better buys out there?

A: wow, that car is worth about 200 dollars in its present shape, if that, get a classifieds paper and keep an eye out for something else, you can get something twice as good for half as much.
that is a newer unibody car, therefore it is harder to work on.
Q: How do you replace a thermostat on a 2003 Dodge Stratus?
I have a 2003 Dodge Stratus and the heat works intermittently at high speeds. I need to replace the thermostat but cannot figure out how. I know where it is but I am not used to working on newer cars.
A: it depends on what engine you have. if it is a 2.4 follow the top hose to the engine to find the thermostat housing. if it is a 2.7 it is on the lower hose behind the alternator. if you only have heat at higher engine speeds, there is air in the cooling system, not a thermostat problem. there is an airbleed screw on the engine.
Q: How do you fix turn signals on a 1996 Dodge Caravan?
I just purchased a 1996 Dodge Caravan and the turn signals won't work. Also the hazard lights are stuck on. I had to put a brick on the hazard lights button to keep them off. I think the wires are wrong in the steering column. Not sure though. I NEED HELP!
